Works at Curex Medical center and also is a full time emergency medicine doctor at Grand River Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener, ON. At Curex – he does walk-in clinic, does minimally invasive procedures by referral and travel medicine. Other areas of interest include lipid disorders and obesity medicine and he is Clinical Assistant Professor at McMaster Medical school and Physician Examiner for the Medical Council of Canada plus publishes peer reviewed articles.

Dr. Christine Johnstone
She is an Emergency Medicine Physician at Grand River Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital and Southampton Hospital, in addition to Curex Medical Center. She attended medical school at Lincoln Memorial University and went on to complete her Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Rochester. In residency, Dr. Johnstone was voted chief resident and presented at many conferences, winning the best resident presenter award at CORD’s national conference.
Dr. Andrew Kamphuis
Dr. Kamphuis is a dedicated and experienced physician with a strong background in healthcare. He completed his undergraduate studies in Health Sciences at McMaster University, followed by his medical education at the same institution. Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, he pursued specialization in family medicine residency at Queen’s University, specifically at the Belleville site. To further enhance his skills, he underwent additional residency training in acute care medicine. Throughout his career, he has gained valuable experience working as a hospitalist and in various clinics across Ontario. Currently, Dr. Kamphuis is proud to serve the community of the Kitchener-Waterloo region, offering compassionate and high-quality medical care to his patients.
Dr. Ekwani Solomon
Works at Curex medical centre doing walk in clinics. Areas of interest include women’s health. She does cervical screening and in the fall (2023) will be available for IUD insertion by referral.
